Radio stations should be selected based on:- -.             Language of the radio station. -.             Cost per 15 seconds. -.             Reach or the coverage of the radio station. -.             Station where your competitor is advertising. -.             The category of your target audience.
You are required to play your Ad at least 5 times a day.
Ad length depends on what message you want to deliver to your target audience. A short Ad of 15 seconds can use a "voice over" form of advert but a longer Ad should be in "jingle" form to get good results. Your Ad length also depends on your objective and product type. Minimum Ad length should be 15 seconds.
Spots means the number of times your Ad jingle should play per day. 5spots/day, means 5 times in a day. This is the recommended minimum spots for low budgets.

Yes, you need to pay VAT of 5% over your radio advertisement cost. This is paid to the radio station.
Rates are usually higher during the peak hours (5am-11:59am & 4pm-10pm) in comparison to afternoon (12 Noon to 3:59pm) and off-peak hours (10:59pm-5am).
For example: if we say that the rate is NGN 2, 770 for a radio station, it means that if you play a 15 seconds Ad once on that radio station in that state, it would cost NGN 2,770. So if you wish to play it 10 times a day, it will cost NGN 27,700.

Ad Frequency – The number of times in a day that the Ad will be broadcast. Ad Duration – The length of each individual Ad in seconds. Ad Tenure – The total duration of the Ad campaign. Ad Slot - Rates are higher during peak hours.
